Queensland Churches Together is a community wide network of Christians committed to a common vision of the Gospel in our State. It embraces a diversity of Church communities, ancient and modern that seek to collaborate and promote the cause of Christian Unity.
A special feature of Queensland Churches Together is the variety of denominations involved, from the Society of Friends (Quakers) to Roman Catholics, with their widely disparate styles of worship, church structure and understanding of authority. These differences are riches to be shared, not issues to be used to maintain divisions.
After over 30 years at St Francis College, Milton, QCT offices have moved. We are now located at the Greek Orthodox Brisbane Diocesan office in Taigum.
Telephone number and postal address remain unchanged.
We are thankful to both St Francis college for allowing us to be part of the college community for so long, and to Bishop Batholomew and the Greek Orthodox church for making us so welcome at our new location.
We are pleased to share the latest edition of the QCT newsletter (April edition)
The newsletter is packed full of information about what is going on around the State
Members of the Queensland Churches Environmental Network (QCEN) were lucky enough to visit the new Salvos Boomerang recycling plant, a world first textile recycling plant, at Carole Park, Qld.
Aims to encourage and enable Members to pray together and share their faith, and to find ways to worship together, while respecting each Church's disciplines, doctrines and traditions.
